Richard Raymond 6th Dan |
Laurie Dalton 5th Dan |
Dave Tunsell 3rd Dan |
John Baseley 2nd Dan |
Marc Hagon
1st Dan |
All have attained FPJ Judo coaching qualifications, have had
Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks completed and hold first aid qualifications.
In addition, Sensei Raymond has passed the NVQ Assessors Award.
No mention of grades or formal qualification mentioned above can describe the breadth
and depth of experience held by these instructors. This coupled with their enormous
enthusiasm for Judo makes for a winning combination.
Amongst our regular visiting instructors are two 5th Dans. We are also
visited from time to time by people wishing to become instructors who teach under
our guidance or maybe a 1st Kyu wishing to pick up a few tips to improve their chances
of attaining their 1st Dan black belt
Amongst the resident instructors we have: British National Contest Champions, International Kata
Champions, Area Kata Coaches and South London Area Squad Coaches.
Our instructors train and teach judo throughout the UK and Europe. Amazingly, four
of our instructors have demonstrated Kata in Japan, the home of judo.
